Age 90 - Survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Melvin Spears, Sr.; children, Tyrone B. Bennett, Reginald Bennett, Carita Spears, Valerie Starks, Letitia Chaney, Leha Spears, Nathan Spears, Cynthea Carbon (Jose); 27 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Eloise Scott and a host of other loving family and friends.    Preceded in death by parents, Joe Lee Bennett & Rose Lee Williams-Bennett; children, Charles Lee Reddick, Robert Melvin Spears, Jr., grandchildren, Art L. Chaney, Jr., Demetria Ya'Vonne Spears-Nixon, Christopher Spears; great grandson, Demontaye Nixon, Jr.; brother, Charles Lee Bennett; sisters, Geneva Norman and Eunice Longworth.          

Services will be held on Tuesday (8/29/2023) at Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Ave., Omaha, NE.  Visitation from 10:00-12:00 PM with Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.  Burial at Omaha National Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
