Christopher Adam Kaiser

Omaha - Christopher Adam Kaiser, age 40, was born in Winner, South Dakota, September 6, 1985, to Roger and Marian (Shalander) Kaiser. He passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Winner and confirmed at Countryside Community Church in Omaha.

Christopher attended pre-school and kindergarten through fourth grade in Winner before moving to Omaha. He graduated from Westside High School in Omaha, where he was active in music and the marching band. He reached his goal of being named drum-line captain his senior year. He was also an avid piano player, joyfully improvising intricate pieces.

Christopher graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in biology and a chemistry minor. He held a variety of jobs, including working on an organic farm in Oregon. One of his passions was playing drums. He played drums in several bands in Omaha, including Mister E and the Stringless Kite, which cut an album of original music. He was an avid reader and enjoyed experiencing music, attending numerous concerts across the country, including at Red Rocks, Sandstone, and the Gorge. Volunteering where he could help the less fortunate at places such as the Open Door Mission and soup kitchens was also a passion of his. Giving to those in need was a way of life for him.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Ida Kaiser, and Joseph and Božena (“Bea”) Shalander; aunt, Karen Kaiser; uncle, Jim Kaiser. He is survived by his mother, Marian Shalander Kaiser; father, Roger Kaiser; brother, Brian Kaiser; sister, Robyn Kaiser; brother-in-law, Gregory Sparber; niece, Madeline (“Maddie”) Sparber; aunt, Marie Shalander Mitchum; uncle, Dennis Kaiser; cousins Troy Kaiser, Clay Kaiser (Renae), and Kody (Gordon) Assman; many great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many friends. He is also survived by his cat, Minnow.

Christopher was always a generous soul with an incredibly kind and loving heart. He will forever be sorely missed.
