Christopher S. Allen

CHRISTOPHER SCOTT ALLEN, age 58, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away at 3:00 p.m. on May 24, 2024, at the VA Hospital in Omaha. He was born on March 30, 1966, in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Fred H. and Rosann I. Meyers Allen. On September 1, 2022, he married Kandi Allen (Robinson).

Chris was a 1984 graduate of Washington Senior High in Washington C.H., Ohio. After high school, he served in the United State Air Force for four years as an Aircraft Mechanic. After leaving the Air Force, Chris worked as a Civilian Aircraft Mechanic until moving to Omaha. Chris also worked for Jimmy John’s doing maintenance for his district. He was a member of the local VFW Post 3762 in Washington C.H. and loved hunting mushrooms. Chris was also “die hard” Ohio State Buckeye Fan and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Chris is survived by his loving wife: Kandi; sons: Cody (Brooke) Allen of Charleston, South Carolina and Aviation Machinist Mate 2^nd Class Baley Allen of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his daughter: Taylor (Jonathan) Jones of Washington C.H., Ohio; his step-children: Jonnie Robinson of Arizona, Ashlie (Albert) Merrifield of Illinois, and T.J. (Cheyenne) Borelli of Arizona; his grandchildren: Henry and Hadley Rose Jones; step-grandchildren: Zacary and Kylee Robinson, J’Mia, Xavier, Harlie and Ava Merrifield, and baby Borelli on the way. Also surviving is his sister: Joda (Rick) Fagan of Washington C.H., Ohio and his brother: Andrew Allen of Ashville, Ohio.

Chris has many families and friends that he leaves behind that loved him dearly.

Along with his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents: Elmer and Norma Meyers and Fred and Frances Allen.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life honoring Chris’s life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Bogie’s Bar and Grill, 3305 Old Maple Road, Omaha, Nebraska, 68134.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Roeder Mortuary in Omaha, Nebraska.
