Chelsea Jo Marie Burkhart, age 29, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2026, leaving behind a family and community who loved her deeply and will miss her beyond words.
Chelsea is survived by her devoted wife, Jessica Burkhart; her beloved son, Liam Eno; her daughter Brooke Day; her mother, Andrea Burkhart; her sisters, Ashley and Zoe Burkhart, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Chelsea had a gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. She was the kind of person you could talk to about anything and everything. Her caring heart, compassionate nature, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Family was at the center of Chelsea’s life. She loved fiercely and devoted herself wholeheartedly to those she cared about most. She was a constant source of love, support, and encouragement to her wife, Jessica, and embraced her role in Liam’s life with unwavering dedication. Chelsea continuously put her best foot forward in helping raise Liam, teaching him right from wrong, guiding him with patience, and loving him as her own.
Chelsea had a remarkable ability to bring light into even the darkest moments. Her quick wit, playful sense of humor, and perfectly timed jokes could ease tension and bring smiles when they were needed most. Her laugh was truly infectious - one of those laughs that made everyone around her laugh too - and it will be remembered by all who had the privilege of hearing it.
Though her time here was far too short, Chelsea’s impact was immeasurable. She leaves behind countless cherished memories, lessons in kindness and unconditional love, and a legacy of putting others before herself.
Chelsea will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
