Springfield - Survived by wife of 62 years, Judy; children, Donna (Ken) Petrmichl, Debra (Doug) Heller; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Petrmichl, Kristin (Cody) Burt, Josh Heller, Paula Heller; great grandchildren, Hattie and Bennett Burt and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, LeRoy & Mildred Scholting; brothers, Ben and Ed Scholting and sister, Mary Ann Kritenbrink.     

Visitation: Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at mortuary.  Funeral Service: Thursday (10/5/2023) 10:00 AM at Roeder Mortuary, 11710 Standing Stone, Gretna, NE.  Burial at Voss-Mohr Cemetery in Omaha, NE. Memorials to the Springfield Fire and Rescue or Springfield Library.
