Chad Jacob Olson passed away on April 11, 2026. He was born on March 20, 1987, to Gary and Penny (Lueth) Olson in Omaha, Nebraska. Chad graduated from Millard West High School and went on to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

On November 17, 2018, Chad married Michelle Siebels. The couple made their home in Cambridge, Wisconsin. Chad was a devoted son, brother, and husband, cherishing the time spent with his wife and family. He especially enjoyed fishing and boating with his brothers in Minnesota, as well as cheering on his favorite teams, the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Wild.

Chad is survived by his wife, Michelle; his mother, Penny Olson of Omaha; and his brothers, Reid Olson of Minneapolis and Erich (Jill) Eriksen, along with nephews Jakob and Lukas Eriksen of Kearney, Missouri. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Jeff and Jackie Siebels, and his brother-in-law, Dan Siebels of Gretna, Nebraska. Chad leaves behind his aunts Pat Shuman, Peggy (Doug) Want, Sue Olson; uncles Gale (Kathi) Lueth, Roger (Lori) Lueth, Bill (Char) Lueth, and Michael (Caprice) Lueth; as well as multiple first and second cousins.

Chad was preceded in death by his father, Gary Olson; uncles Rod Shuman and Craig Olson; grandparents Robert and Ardeth Lueth of Emerson; and Robert and Dorothy Olson of Wahoo.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, at 10:30 a.m. at Roeder Mortuary in Gretna, Nebraska. Pastor Gary Werling officiating.
