Carole Anne Buczkowski, age 83, passed from this life on August 9, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska, after a lengthy illness.
Born Carole Anne Campbell in Buffalo, New York, she was the first daughter of William and Madalyne Campbell. She graduated from the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart in 1960.
Carole met and married Robert Buczkowski in 1962 in Buffalo. Together, they made their home in Tonawanda, New York, in 1966 before moving to Omaha, Nebraska, in 1986.
Carole was primarily a devoted homemaker, though she also worked at various times as a receptionist, secretary, administrator, and bookkeeper. She and her husband Bob travelled all over the world. Carole loved reading books, being a mother, her swim group, Tuesday ladies group, her grandchildren, local college sports teams, and the Buffalo Bills!
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Robert; her parents, William and Madalyne Campbell; her sister, Maureen; her brother-in-law, Ron Rybak; her daughters-in-law, Patty Buczkowski and Sigrid Buczkowski; and her devoted companion dog, Scooter.
Carole is survived by her children, Michael (Elizabeth), Cary Jo, Jeffery, and Eric (Eva) Buczkowski; her brother, William (Marge) Campbell; her former daughter-in-law, Lisa Buczkowski; her grandchildren, Patrick, Madeline, Kevin, Anna, Katrina, John, and James; great grand-daughter Madison, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM with Memorial Mass 10:30 AM Thursday (8/13/2026) at St. Leo's Catholic Church 1920 N. 102nd St. Omaha, NE.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Leo's Church, Coast Guard Foundation, NE Humane Society, or Omaha Open Door Mission.
