As a young child, Carol started on her own to seek a relationship with her creator by asking neighbors to take her to church with them. After many years of not getting her questions answered about life and death, she began to study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses when she was 29 years old. Her husband, Andy, joined her and within a year they were baptized together on April 11, 1970. Carol loved conducting Bible studies and the door-to-door ministry.
Carol was also a respected business entrepreneur with Andy in forming their family business, Nastase Roofing, which she helped run for many years.
Carol loved to travel, entertain, plant flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known as Gran by her grandchildren and GranGran by her great grandchildren and all the family pets, Buffy, Leo, Vinny, Molly and Lacey, all of whom brought her much joy and laughter.
Carol had a great sense of humor, a love for music, and dancing. She was an accomplished cook, great storyteller, party organizer and pet lover.
Carol's last few years became difficult with the progression of her disease, but she still had her spark and was still trying to get us all to do things her· way, which she always taught us, was "The Right Way."
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
