Carol L. Jensen

 Carol Jensen, born in California, August 30, 1956 to Don and Lois Jean Jensen. Carol went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2024 peacefully, with her family and friends by her side in Omaha, Nebraska.

A retired Navy Chief, Carol loved serving alongside her fellow shipmates. She always looked out for her sailors. Following 21 years in the Navy, Carol sought to help others by earning her degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas.

Carol loved nothing more than a cup of coffee and conversation with her beloved friends and family. Her sense of humor and laughter would lift up any room. A fanatic of all things Eeyore and moose, Carol remained playful and fun throughout her life. She kept a warm smile on her face and enthusiasm in her voice, always showing her love for others.

A firm believer in Christ, Carol’s faith never wavered. During her last few months, she never complained, always grateful for what God has done for her. She was always concerned about the well being of others, and placed them ahead of herself, in service. Carol enjoyed spending time with and getting to know her extended family in Omaha for the past few years. She was also surrounded by many wonderful friends and neighbors.

Carol is survived by her son, Jacob Roller, and daughter-in-law Stacie of Sherman, TX; grandchildren Kailer, Micayla, and Kai; Sisters Sherry Lyons, and Dona Stone; cousin Sandie Canick and her husband Lou; her best friend Leslie Schumacher and husband Dan and dear friend, Carol Kaufman and husband Keith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Lois Jean Jensen; and her firstborn and dearly loved son, Daniel Roller.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Roeder Funeral home in Omaha, Nebraska, followed by a memorial service for burial on November 12, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Omaha National Cemetery 14250 Schram Rd. Omaha, NE 68138.
