Carnie L. Feiste

April 17, 1952 — December 24, 2024

Carnie L. Feiste

Carnie was born April 17, 1952, being the youngest of five (Denny, Del, Georgia, Janice and her) to Odie and Martha Milburn of Hutchinson, KS. Upon the passing of their mother Martha, the two youngest children, Janice and Carnie, were raised by family: Uncle Ben, Aunt Frieda Martin and family, also by grandparents, Isaac and Elvessa Milburn, in Goodland, KS.

Carnie was a loving mother of three boys (Tony, Troy and Travis) for whom she worked tirelessly to provide a good life and home. She resided in Hutchinson, Kansas to be close to family until 1992 when she and her youngest moved to Bellevue, NE. She worked as a waitress, but found her true gift working as a paraprofessional teachers' assistant working with special needs preschool children. Her compassion for her students and ability to help them was noted by all those she worked with.

She was introduced to Guenther Feiste by mutual friends in August 1993, and they were married on August 12, 1994. Their loving marriage lasted 30 years right up to her passing on Christmas Eve morning 2024, at home surrounded by family. They lovingly held hands until her last breath, honoring their vows before Christ as she returned home to our Lord and Savior.

Carnie loved her husband and family. She was self-taught in quilting, sewing, gardening and cooking of which she loved to do. Her home-made chicken noodle soup, mac & cheese, and malts were much sought after by family and friends. Among her many talents, she would always exquisitely decorate their home for every occasion and created a warm loving home and environment for family and guests alike.

Carnie is preceded in death by: Her mother Martha, father Odie, Brothers: Denny (who died serving our country), and Del, also by an unborn angel her and Guenther loved and missed every day.

Carnie is survived by: Her loving husband, Guenther Feiste, Sisters: Georgia Lucas, Janice Childers and sister-in-law Gerry Milburn. Sons: Tony Myer (wife Debra), Troy Myer, Travis Myer (wife Carrie), 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, the youngest being born December 26, 2024, just two days after her passing. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Carnie's most loved scripture: Jeremiah 33:3, "Call upon the Lord and I will show you great and mighty things...

GLORY BE TO GOD FOR BLESSING US ALL WITH HER BEAUTIFUL SOUL AND SPIRIT.
