Carmelina M. McMillan

Omaha - Carmelina Mary McMillan age 79, passed away peacefully October 1,2025 at 10:26 am, surrounded by her family, just as she lived wrapped in love.

Born January 9,1946 in Omaha, Nebraska, Carmelina was a loving and caring woman whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. She devoted her life to her family, always putting others before herself. Whether it was through her comforting words, home-cooked meals, or warm hugs, she made everyone feel loved and special. Her gentle spirit and unwavering faith were an inspiration to all.

Carmelina's love was the heart of our family. Her laughter filled our homes, and her wisdom guided us through life's challenges. Though we will miss her deeply, we take comfort in knowing her love will continue to live on in each of us.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Marie Jean Dupree and Theodore Dupree. Her aunt Lola Mae Rucker, and cousin Laura Kincade. Her siblings Teddy Dupree Jr. and family, Willie Dupree and family, Johnny Dupree, Angela Chappell and Family, Simone Dupree, and Charolette Davis and Family. Her children, Anthony Dupree, Andrew McMillan and Walnetta McMillan, Lavonna Chiles and Marcus Chiles. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the precious memories they shared with her.

In her final words she reminded us to love each other. Her love lives on in each of us.
