Bruce T. Miller

Bruce T. Miller, 76, passed away February 20, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska from complications of Dementia. Bruce was born March 1, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Buford M. Miller and Wilda A. Durfee Miller. Bruce received his elementary and secondary education in Pleasantville, NY, then moved to Wyoming where he earned his degree in education. Bruce settled in Omaha in the mid-1980's after many years of teaching science and coaching basketball in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska high schools. For the next 30 years, Bruce taught as a substitute teacher in the Omaha, Ralston and Millard school districts.

Bruce loved music and loved to dance. He belonged to the Omaha Christian Singles and attended the dances regularly. He also loved movies especially documentaries of American history.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beverly A. Miller of Boise, ID, and survived by significant other Colette Clements and many friends. Funeral Service is planned for Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11:00 with visitation 1 hour prior at Roeder Mortuary 2727 N. 108th St Omaha, NE; Interment Evergreen Memorial Park, Omaha, NE. Memorials to the Salvation Army or Nebraska Humane Society.
