According to Beulah they married on November 13th 1950 in Milltown SD because they got tired of making up excuses to visit each other. During the early years of their marriage Beulah taught in a one room school house but her true passion was to raise a family and take care of her home. Dave and Beulah moved to Omaha, NE where they raised four daughters and three sons who blessed them with fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren As busy as she was raising family she also found time for other interests, bowling, ceramics, and various crafts. The baby blankets, ceramic baby plates and piggy banks she made for her grandchildren will be a lasting memory.
