Betty Lou LaVallie

Age 76 - Betty LaVallie was born in Winnebago, NE on May 4, 1947 and died on January 5, 2024 at the age of 76. She grew up on a farm in Irvington, NE attending Irvington School. When the family sold the farm and moved into North Omaha, she attended Tech High School, graduating in 1965.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard D. Gard and Lela Anderson Gard, her husband, Dennis "Jack" LaVallie, a half sister Bonnie Shoup, sisters Beverly and June Gard, and brothers Ronald and Wayne Gard.

She is survived by her children, Dennis "Jack" Jr., Randy, Michelle, Terry and Connie LaVallie; an aunt Donna Farfalla, brother Howard I Gard, sisters Catherine Bailey and Linda Easter, 7 nieces and nephews,17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and innumerable other relatives and friends. Everyone loved Betty and she will be greatly missed.      

Visitation: Tuesday (1/16/2024) 5 -7 PM at mortuary. Funeral Service: 10 AM Wednesday (1/17/2024) at Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Avenue, Omaha, NE. Burial at Fairview Cemetery in Papillion, NE.
