11710 Standing Stone, Dr. Gretna, NE 68028 332-0090 Bernard Thomas Marquardt was born July 22, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska and died on September 6, 2022 in Gretna, Nebraska. He was the son of Jayne and Dean B. Marquardt. Bernie grew up in Omaha and attended parochial school, He graduated from Bishop Ryan High School as well as attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Bernie married Yvonne Bruneteau Grace on February 13 th 1965 and through that union 3 children were born.   Shawn, Danny and Mandy.  Bernie was a successful businessman and along with his partner and friend George Allison they founded M & A Enterprises.  M & A Enterprises ran a successful business for over 50 years.  Bernie later divorced and remarried the love of his life, Yuan Marquardt . Bernie  resided in Gretna and Lisco and had a passion for fishing, hunting, traveling, gambling all of which he enjoyed with is wife, Yuan.  This was symbolized by him being able to travel abroad, enjoying many times at their farm in Lisco, Nebraska along with shooting and mounting a Kodiak brown bear in Alaska, which is on display at the Cabela’s La Vista location.  All of these trips he encountered gave him great joy and wonderful memories that will last forever.  He is survived by his wife, Yuan Marquardt of Omaha, Ne.  Sons, Shawn Marquardt of Gretna, Nebraska, Danny Marquardt of Farmington Minnesota, Daughter Amanda Grinnell of Gretna Nebraska and two grandchildren Payton & Mckenna Marquardt along with many family and friends.  He is proceeded in death by his parents.
