Ardice L. Braun

Ardice was born when her parents, Ernest Leroy “Roy” Deming and L. Gladys Deming lived on a farm between Spencer and Bristow, Nebraska. She was the second of two girls. She has two little brothers who died at birth. Later her folks farmed on the river bottom near Blair, Nebraska and she walked the two miles into Blair to go to school. She graduated from high school in Blair and went to business school in Omaha. She enlisted in the Coast Guard during WWII doing secretarial work. Then she came back to Omaha, after the war, and did secretarial work.

She met and married William Braun in Omaha. Three children were born: Alan, Diane, and Janet. Also, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was always active in ladies church circles.

She was preceded in death by Husband: William; Daughter: Diane Bruderer; Sister: Betty Frederick; Survived by Children: Alan Braun, Janet Morris; 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great-grandchildren; And numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family & friends.
