Anna Steinke

Omaha - We honor Anna who was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. Anna was born in Omaha, Nebraska as the 3rd child of Aleksander and Jadwiga (Judy) Jurys. 

Anna was wife of John for 31 years and mother of five children, Skyler, Travis, Tiffany, John, and Jordan. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Anna also was a talented writer who loved to write poetry. She also had a love of nature and cared for many flowers, trees, and animals over the years. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.  Anna was the most loving and caring person to her family and many others who knew her.  We will cherish all the beautiful memories we had with her until we see Anna again in heaven.

Anna is preceded in death by parents Aleksander & Jadwiga, brother John. 
Survived by husband John, children Skyler (Laura), Travis, Tiffany, John, Jordan, grandson Tanner, siblings Mary (David) Lundberg, Katherine (Patrick) Krug, Alexander Jurys. And many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.   
 
Visitation Tuesday, December 27th, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary – Gretna Chapel
Funeral Service 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 at Christ Community Church 404 S. 108th Ave. Omaha, Nebraska 68154, Interment Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials to Open door Mission.
