Preceded in death by husband, Duane V, Sr.; mother, Clara Bell Ives; father, George Ives; 7 siblings; sons in-law, Wally Nelson and Michael D. Carpenter. Survived by children, Joan Nelson, Duane V, Jr. and Barbara A. Carpenter; grandchildren, Kathy Jahns , Janet Diggins , Bob Nelson and Scott Nelson ; 10 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; sister, Jeannette Taylor of Lincoln and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorials suggested to Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church.
