Alice J. Miller

Alice was born on Sept. 11^th, 1934 and passed on Dec. 24^th, 2022. Her parents were John and Anna Vipond. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Randy in 2000. Her sisters Lu Bradley, Darlene Steinfadt, Doris Winterfeld, and brother Jim Vipond. She is survived by her husband of sixty years Fred Miller. Her son Jeffrey Miller, Michelle Bejot, Jeff’s significant special other, granddaughter Erika Miller and great grandchildren Riley Lindahl and Evelyn Randall and many nieces and nephews.  

Alice graduated from Hudson SD High School in 1952, and then became a teller at the State Bank of Hudson. She married Fred Miller on June 9, 1962. They started their married life in Huron SD, moved to Sioux Falls in 1965. Then to Omaha NE in 1981. There she worked at First Westside Bank and then at Security Bank from which she retired in 2001. She was very good at her job and loved her customers.          

Visitation Thursday (12/29/2022) 5-7 PM at Lutheran Church of the Master (2617 S 114th Street). Funeral Service 11 AM Friday (12/30/2022) at Lutheran Church of the Master. In lieu of flowers memorials to be dedicated to Children’s Hospital and Medical Center.
