Darrell E. Mohr

Darrell E. Mohr, age 74 of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away at Josie Harper Hospice House on August 24. Darrell was born in Atlantic, Iowa, to Ernest W. Mohr and Leona Mohr. Darrell graduated from the Avoca school district in Avoca, Iowa. He loved his school and participated in sports and clubs. His classmates were very special to him. Darrell is survived by his wife, Chris, and their three children, along with their spouses, and most-loved grandchildren: Darren, Liz, and Dax; Amber, Jeremy, Ernie, Lenora, and Walden; and Laura, Shaun, Adeline, and Lochlin. He has nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him. His background in electronics led to a career at IBM, Eastman Kodak, and Danka. He owned a PIP Printing store for some years. His retirement work was done for Fernando’s Cantina. He had a respect for all, and in his last days, he reiterated his love for his family multiple times and said that he loved everyone. Visitation Sunday 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th St. Omaha, NE. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday at St. James Catholic Church, 9025 Larimore Ave. Memorials to Josie Harper Hospice House or Siena Francis House. The family requests that all attendees wear face masks out of respect for the health care workers present that took such special care of Darrell.
